Bamboo plantation is a significant economic boon for the country!
US President J.N. Biden implemented the National Bamboo Plantation Policy very successfully after winning the election. It shows how tolerant and environmentally conscious a developed nation in the world is. Bamboo is a plant that protects biodiversity and protects nature from the sun. Bamboo plays an important role in absorbing and destroying carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. And it is a bamboo plant that produces clean oxygen. Bamboo blocks 85% of the soil’s evaporation. At the same time, a bamboo island plays a very important role in releasing 5 million liters of rainwater during the monsoon into the ground. Bamboo grows from a height of seven feet to 80 feet. The tallest bamboo in the world is in China. Bamboo is an evergreen plant that does not disturb any other trees. Natural wind-producing ants are at the forefront in bamboo forests. Bamboo forests are very nutritious for the production of bamboo. Bamboo is considered a natural resource of great biodiversity and ecology. Millions of ants are produced and the earth is protected. Bamboo forests work to quell the coming storms. Countries that are at the forefront of bamboo production are countries that are economically advanced. A country like Vietnam, which was devastated by war fifty years ago, rose again like a phoenix. Progress was achieved only from bamboo production forests. The equations in the economy have changed by creating important bamboo plantations at the country level. The production of bamboo-made products and modern cottage industries is an invaluable progress. 50 years ago, that country had a per capita income of 0.356 points. Today, the per capita income of that country has increased to a whopping $4350. This is only the income from bamboo obtained from forest resources. Today, a country like Vietnam is a beautiful country blooming with evergreen trees. That is why it earns millions of foreign exchange dollars by doing spectacular work in tourism from Mimense. This country has made great progress in tourism from dense and forest resources. Bamboo cultivation is not only a great environmental supplement, but also a plant that reduces the risk of global warming. Bamboo is a plant that absorbs and destroys a large amount of carbon dioxide in the air. And produces oxygen. Every nation has been suffering from the effects of carbon dioxide gas. Terrible diseases are being created from the toxic gas that is produced. At the same time, the national labor force is being depleted. Terrible diseases like cancer are being created due to carbon dioxide gas. Today, farmers are getting a lot of financial benefits from bamboo cultivation projects. While doing this cultivation, there is no need for fertile land at all. Sandy, barren, rocky, infertile land, marshy areas, and wastelands near streams are sure places to grow bamboo. According to a study, bamboo is a plant that yields more than sugarcane. Sugarcane produces for only three years. Sugarcane requires a lot of water, fertilizers, and manpower. Excessive fertilizers and abundant water make agriculture infertile. Such agriculture is not available for harvesting for fifty years. Therefore, very little water and fertilizer is used. Bamboo farming requires careful attention for only four years. After that, bamboo is the only plant that produces for 70 years continuously. After that, no effort or financial expenditure is required. And there is no need to make a big financial investment in this field. Further, the production cost is zero. Bamboo leaves are the favorite food of all wild animals and domestic animals. And this leaf is very nutritious. Bamboo cultivation can be done in many unproductive wastelands. Successful bamboo cultivation can be done on three crore acres of forest land in our state. And intangible forest wealth can be created. Not only will the economy change, but clean oxygen can be produced for health. This work will become a center for stopping pollution in the green belt. The state can get many benefits from it. Employment will be created on a large scale. A common bamboo plant has a life span of 40 to 100 years. For common farmers, bamboo can be called the poor man’s teak.
In our country, there is a supplementary business from bamboo with a turnover of 32 thousand crores. Bamboo is a cottage industry and an export industry that builds on the back of the modern world. The state of Assam is the leader in bamboo production in the country. Bamboo varieties include Tuda, Nutan Baloka, Brahmadeshi, Aspar, Katewala, Vetachha, Velu. The main objective behind this is to increase bamboo production and achieve economic progress of the country. Today, our country needs bamboo products, which are a future industry with a turnover of fifty thousand crores. Bamboo products should bring economic progress and this multipurpose bamboo plant has become a reality. Bamboo cultivation yields 100 tons per hectare. It gets a huge remuneration of at least 4 thousand to 6 thousand rupees per ton. By getting this huge income, the farmer can definitely become financially capable. If one ton of bamboo is crushed, 400 liters of ethanol is produced. That is, we understand how profitable bamboo is. Today, the bamboo industry, which has given new life to agricultural income, has become profitable. The Nanaji Deshmukh Krishi Sanjeevan Project Yojana has been implemented all over the country and has benefited many farmers. This subsidy is given under the Mahatma Gandhi Atal Van Yojana. If the country’s economy is to be strengthened from this bamboo plant, this cottage industry should be taken above fifty thousand crores. And many goods should be produced by producing quality bamboo. The goal should be achieved at the state level, increasing bamboo productivity, creating modern industries made of bamboo. We should not just create cottage industries but also catch the pulse of modernity. Capturing the international market, being able to earn valuable foreign exchange by making beautiful goods. Bamboo is the support tree of a farmer. Natural wealth is obtained from this. National work of environment is done by hand. After four years, this agriculture has to be made zero financial assistance and zero effort. Economic prosperity is an industry that provides a directional income to the tribal people who have been deprived of bamboo cultivation for years. Bamboo is a medicinal plant. Many wild animals live by eating bamboo leaves. Bamboo plant represents the five elements of earth, fire, air, water and wood. Bamboo young shoots have many nutritional properties. Soup, salad and curry are made from young shoots. Cholesterol levels are kept under control by consuming this. Immortal power increases. Many minerals are found in it. Flowers come only once after 70 years. Then the bamboo dries up. A large number of seeds are produced from bamboo seeds. Anti-diarrheal medicine is made from the flowers, seeds and roots. In the past, anti-diarrheal medicine was made from sage. It is also made today. Bamboo forests are a favorite place for animals and birds. If you play a whistle or flute in a melodious bamboo forest, a melodious sound is emitted. The only favorite place of the Bengali tiger is the bamboo forest. Animals also get naturalness in the bamboo forest area. And health improvement and growth are the gifts of nature. Bamboo plantation is being produced on a large scale at many levels.
