The Mokshada Ekadashi fast is observed on the Ekadashi Tithi (eleventh day) of the Shukla Paksha (bright fortnight) of the month of Margashirsha. Worshiping Lord Vishnu on this day absolves sins and paves the way to salvation. It is believed that this fast also provides salvation to ancestors. Devotees bathe in the morning and take a vow to observe the fast, engage in bhajans and kirtans, and reciting the Gita holds special significance.
The Mokshada Ekadashi fast purifies the mind and brings peace, goodwill, and spiritual progress to life.
